The adult-oriented FX comedy series The League follows a group of friends and their antics during the fantasy football season. As whenever you get a bunch of guys together, there are lots of laughs through good-natured ribbing and humiliating and embarrassing stories. This series seems to capture the best about being in a fantasy football league - and at times, it almost seems a little too real!
Follow Taco (Jonathan Lajoie), Ruxin (Nick Kroll), Pete (Mark Duplass) and the rest of the gang as they start off the season with the draft in Las Vegas, followed by a toilet seat made of cocaine, a very embarrassing and awkward anniversary party, and a specially-created loser's trophy. Also, be on the lookout for guest stars like Chad Ochocinco, Terrell Suggs, and Josh Cribbs.
This two-disc Blu-ray set features all 13 episodes of the second season of The League, with over half of the episodes also being offered as extended versions. Many extras, such as a gag reel, deleted scenes, and many more unrated bonus features, are thrown in.
If you are a football fan, a partaker of fantasy football, or just someone who enjoys a great comedic sit-com, there is no doubt you will enjoy every minute of these discs.
