The Power Rangers are back, and in these episodes, all the pieces are falling together. All of the gemstones sought in the previous four volumes of Operation Overdrive are finally located - and the individual who wields this power shall become nigh unstoppable. The mission that began at the beginning of the season is coming to a close. In Volume Four , Red Ranger Mack discovered that he was an android created by Andrew. He's trying to find his place in this world and trying to carve a path not dictated by his programming. Aren't we all, Mack? Aren't we all? The Fearcats put some pain on the Rangers when they find the Octavian Chalice and unleash one of its fearful powers: Agrios, a beast immense and powerful enough to pose a real challenge to the Rangers and their Zords (giant mechanical forms). This time a city is threatened by the Fearcats (quite often the giant battles take place in the country, much to the annoyance of the modelmaker's union). Mack nearly sacrifices himself to save the planet from their awesome wrath and whatnot. Once the Pink Emerald (?!) is found (right under the Power Rangers' noses no less), Flurious and his evil snow dudes come and take it from the Rangers. Flurious wastes no time in starting an ice age and unleashing his cold vengeance on Earth. The Power Rangers are truly challenged in this, the final battle, and they fight with heart. Will they win the day and stop this evil madman? They're the Power Rangers. What could go wrong? |
