This second season of Transformers Animated picks up right where the first one left off, and my son was so excited he watched them all within a couple of days - all 13 episodes (17-29), which equals approximately five hours of viewing pleasure.

If you love Transformers, you will really enjoy this compilation, which appeals to both kids and adults alike. It follows the continuing adventures of the Autobots (led by Optimus Prime) attempting to protect the Allspark and the world from the Decepticons (lead by the evil Megatron). There is some engaging humor and the plot is interesting enough to capture the attention of viewers of any age.

The action, even the suspense portrayed in the Transformers Animated series is surprisingly good. I didn't personally think I would enjoy watching this series as much as I have. Plus, it gives me something in common with my 10-year-old son, and we can chat about all things Transformer without me being lost in the terminology.

Transformers Animated: Season Two is highly recommended, but I definitely recommend you watch Transform and Roll Out, as well as Season One before watching this one. The set makes an ideal and highly desired gift for any young boy (or adult who loved Transformers as a child).
