Seth Macfarlane's Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy is a collection of animated web videos created, of course, by Seth MacFarlane. Originally starting out on You Tube, these videos are similar to the cutaway gags familiar to fans of Family Guy. Also, a lot of Family Guy's voice actors make appearances throughout these clips. Most clock in at around one minute or less and are mostly unrelated to each other. With such a quick lifespan, they get to the punchline quickly, and most of the gags are pass or fail.

Unfortunately, I found this disc to contain more misses than hits. The sense of humor that most of these clips display is set a little low for my tastes. I would have preferred more of the pop culture jokes that Seth is known for and less of the toilet and sex jokes that fill this disc.

Don't get me wrong - those subjects can be funny. I just didn't find many laughs here, and it's hard to promote this release. I'd recommend dipping your toes in the waters of the You Tube clips and see what happens. About half of the total 50 clips are available there, and this disc is more of the same. As for me, I think I'll pass for now.
