Horror writer Christopher Smith, the master behind such movies as Creep The movie opens up with scenes involving Jess and her son that don't quite make sense. Then Jess appears at the docks (not looking so well), from there setting sail with a group of friends aboard a yacht. They sail out into the deep blue ocean, and for a bit, it looks like a perfectly clear day for sailing and relaxation. But Jess is still not doing well and is sleeping down below. The yachters have unwittingly travelled into the dreaded Bermuda Triangle, and weather conditions turn really bad in a hurry. The sun fades away; horrendously dark storm clouds roll in. Everyone scatters below deck to safety, but it isn't safe for long. A torrential rain falls and the seas become turbulent and nasty. The waves keep growing in size, then - wham! - the yacht is hit with a huge wave and capsizes. The friends regroup, and before they know it an ocean liner appears. When they board, it appears as though the ship is deserted, but Jess has a bit of deja-vu that says different. Here the movie kicks into gear: it seems like there is someone on board who wants to hunt them down. Describing this movie as akin to The Shining The disc comes with subtitles; the special features include a cast and crew interview. Overall, Triangle |
